Alexander married Margaret "Maggie" Ermine CULP, daughter of Paul Shirley CULP and Margaret Matilda CREEL, on 21 Jan 1888 in Lebanon Orphanage.^{1 2 3} (Margaret "Maggie" Ermine CULP was born on 7 Mar 1872 in Sedalia, Missouri ^{1 2 3} and died on 6 Mar 1969 in New Powell Cemetery ^{1 2 3}.)
